Dear Valued Member/ League Player,

Firstly we would like to thank most of you for accepting the New Rule, however it has been brought to our attention here at Rack a Tack that some members /players are at work or have other commitments during game play. We would like offer an alternative ruling which should meet most player’s demands. And therefore wouldn’t offer a posing problem for players to play fairly during the game.
I would like to firstly make it perfectly clear that at no time was anyone accused of cheating, we merely had received complaints about some players, and we were NOT implying that every member/player that turned grey was cheating.
Changes to rules:

We would like to make the following changes, which we hope will meet most players’ daily schedules:

All short format games where you only play to a certain amount, table times will be changed to 7 minute tables for game play per person with a 60 sec move limited.

All longer formats like Regular Scrabble, Horizontal splits etc will still have 10 minutes but the 60 second move will be in place

All extra long formats which include the Scrabble Race (individual tables) and the checkpoints to 200 will still stay at 15 minutes with the 60 sec move applied.

So that means the grey rule will not be in place, however if a player suspects another player of cheating, please inform a member of the team, who will arrange for that player to be monitored.

We do understand that some of you have other things to do, and honestly we are only happy to listen to your views and try and make a fair playing room only for your enjoyment.

If anyone has any further comments on this subject we are happy to listen and act in everyone’s best interests.
